Hello everyone! In today's MA discussion, our discussion was "Knowledge, Information, and Learning." "All bodies are not capable of doing the same things" "(un)prepare" "Listening Space" "Learning and growing is putting yourself in uncomfortable situations" "You have to teach what is in front of you" "Information has to be meaningful" These are all quotes or ideas that really struck a chord with me today. About Me

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a USA resident currently living right outside of the lovely Philadelphia PA. I have an interesting history with the arts. I have dabbled in almost every form of performance art you an imagine, but my first love will always be dance and theatre. In the most recent years I have worked as a professional dancer, choreographer, director, instructor, and coach. I have worked on musicals, musical videos, touring productions, cruise ships, and more. I have come to a point in my career where I want to take my passion for the arts and inspire others. In most recent years, my career has taken a turn to dance teaching and education... and I LOVE IT! I have worked in higher education, dance studios, and theatre schools. I have learned the arts do a lot more for people than just show off their talent. The arts are empowering, engaging, moving, and informative. I have decided to work towards my MA in dance for more reasons than one, and I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.
